繼苗栗飛牛牧場出現農業害蟲「秋行軍蟲」後，農委會下午證實疫情擴大，宜蘭頭城、嘉義義竹也淪陷。
秋行軍蟲偏好侵害玉米作物。宜蘭縣動植物防疫所今天表示，頭城地區一名陳姓農民10日在玉米田內發現縣內第一例疑似秋行軍蟲，經有關單位檢驗後確認無誤，今天銷毀掩埋相關農作。
此外，國內重要玉米產地嘉義縣義竹鄉，台南區農改場通報青割玉米發現疑似秋行軍蟲案例，農委會今天下午鑑定結果出爐，證實秋行軍蟲，縣府農業處趕往現場封鎖，做投藥防治。
