卡努颱風雖然逐漸遠離台灣，但外圍環流仍持續發威，配合東南風場影響，為東部、南部帶來劇烈降雨。截至15日晚間7時，台東縣累積雨量已達377毫米；台東縣政府晚間宣布，明（16日）延平鄉鸞山村上野地區、海瑞鄉利稻村、海瑞鄉霧鹿村停止上班、上課。
