每年春節過後到5月份，是東海岸捕捉迴游曼波魚的季節，這回捕獲最大隻的曼波魚，漁販立刻請專人進行切割，光是這條魚就讓漁民發了一筆小財，李榮豐表示龍腸、皮 肉共賣三萬多。
曼波魚全身都是寶，從魚皮，魚肉到內臟都可以食用，其中魚腸，口感清脆，被譽為龍腸，或是用魚肉，來做三杯曼波魚，也讓老饕趨之若鶩。廚師李進元指出膠質最多的是皮，而且龍腸要翻過來洗乾淨。
檢視相片曼波魚俗稱翻車魚，是遊客造訪花東必吃的美食之一，今年的曼波魚季漁民豐收，也讓遊客能夠品嘗到最新鮮的滋味。
