受到西南風沉降增溫影響，全台熱呼呼，豔陽就像會咬人一樣，截至下午1時40分，自動測站台東太麻里飆出全台最高溫38.5度，另一自動測站花蓮富源也有38.4度，但並未刷新今年全台最高溫紀錄。中午12時48分，台北市氣溫也升至37度。
氣象局發布花蓮縣、台東縣高溫橙色燈號（38度以上），及基隆市、新北市、桃園市、台北市、彰化縣、高雄市高溫黃色燈號（36度以上）。
氣象局建議民眾注意防曬、多補充水份、慎防熱傷害。
