中央氣象局科技中心主任鄭明典在臉書指出，今天的西南風增強，吹散汙染物，加上高壓也增強，空氣乾燥。這兩個因素使得大氣能見度提高，在氣象局屋頂就可以看到大霸尖山。
天氣風險公司總經理彭啟明在臉書「氣象達人彭啟明」指出，目前依舊是太平洋高壓盤據，不過位置偏南，抑制了颱風的發展，增強了台灣附近穩定的天氣型態。
氣象局說，台北今天上午10時28分已36.0度高溫，今天大台北高溫已達36度，並預計有37度以上高溫發生的機率；台東大武及基隆亦有36度以上高溫發生的機率，請注意防曬、多補充水分並預防中暑。
