〔記者黃明堂／台東報導〕日本科學博物館為驗證3萬年前祖先移民路徑，與台灣史前文化博物館合作「跨越黑潮，復現3萬年前的航海實驗計畫」，由日本打造的仿古圓木舟，7日中午從台東長濱鄉烏石鼻港出發。5名划手觀星象找方位，昨天上午近11點在日本沖繩與那國島久部良港上岸，船隊特別拿出中華民國國旗合影留念。這趟航程總計划46小時、225.62公里。
史前館指出，日本人發源假設之一是由台灣跨越黑潮進入沖繩列島，這次航海成功，為日本人發源於台灣的假設提高可能性。
