今天一早雨還沒停，就有農友跑到卑南圳閘門前觀察，卑南溪溪水仍奔騰，方姓農友說，二期稻作正在結穗期，最需要用水，這幾天下的雨大概可以撐一星期，但還是希望趕快修好。
台東農田水利會總幹事莊進忠說明，這次縱谷、台東市重要水圳全部受損、引水土堤全被沖毀，必須等到溪水穩定、才能進入作業修復，而連東海岸三鄉鎮181條圳路也壞掉，且東海岸的進水口都在山區，必須徒步前往察看，預估全縣修復經費破千萬元，水利會各工作站小組長及幹部會全力搶修。
