金酒公司因應未來增產及延長醱酵空間，斥資近10億新建金酒醱酵大樓昨天動土。金酒董事長兼總經理張鳴仁表示，期待工程完工後，再創金酒營業佳績。
金酒公司昨在金寧廠製酒一廠與製酒二廠間，新建全新符合綠建築標章醱酵大樓，為地下1樓、地上3樓廠房設計，工程金額為新台幣9億5千多萬元，預計108年09月啟用。
張鳴仁表示，為延長醱酵時間提升酒的品質，特別興建1800座紅磚醱酵池的醱酵大樓，每個槽約有1噸的酒麴醱酵量，再透過空橋連接金寧廠製酒一、二廠生產區，以確保運送至醱酵區的酒醪運輸品質。
因為醱酵講究溫控，廠房空調設備採節能、高效率設計，確保酒麴品質。
包括立法委員鄭寶清、立法委員陳歐珀、金門縣議會副議長謝東龍及多位議員等都出席動土典禮，各界都期待未來讓世界各地都可以看到金酒。
