原棒協關懷盃豐田國小2日與玉里國小比賽，身為強校，豐田國小比賽中沒有教練但喊指令與責備，即使失誤了，教練依舊鼓勵球員，校長方穎豐堅持以教育的方式指導球員，用關懷的角度伴隨他們成長。
豐田國小今年5月拿下華南金控少棒賽冠軍，也成為U12世界盃主力隊伍，方穎豐擔任世界盃總教練，率領中華隊拿下亞軍，也因此，這次比賽六年級球員前往大陸參加交流賽，不在台灣，這次關懷盃以五年級為主。
這次比賽中，雖然發生過幾次失誤，但豐田教練團不罵人，即使投手投出壞球，也是不斷的鼓勵投手，更有教練大喊：「沒關係，壞球算我的」。
方穎豐說：「會失誤不是他的錯，可能是我們平常教得不好，或是訓練不足，是團隊一起的責任」方穎豐希望球員都能快樂打球、成長「五年級穩定性沒那麼好，打關懷盃培養經驗，輸了一起承受，贏了一起享受快樂的果實。」
