花蓮市今天上午發生自小客車，疑似車速過快，失控撞入民宅，幸好沒有人員傷亡。
花蓮警分局中山派出所副所長林忠信表示，今天8點多鐘，這輛白色自小客車，沿花蓮市和平路東向西行駛，在行經和平路與林政街口時，疑似車速過快不慎衝進民宅騎樓，員警獲報前往現場處理，幸無任何人員受傷，駕駛人經酒精測試酒測值為零，肇事原因目前由警方釐清中。
警方也呼籲駕駛人行經路口應減速慢行，共同維護行車安全。
