有「采竹之鄉」名號的台南市龍崎區栽種400多公頃綠竹筍,多年採取「共選共計」共同運銷,嚴選分級,在台北果菜市場打響名氣,不過,受去年連續下雨2、3個月,雨水太多致筍頭爛掉、無法生長,今年產量減少約3分之1,價格平穩,一級品每公斤200元,平均每公斤約120元。

綠竹筍是龍崎重要經濟作物,因造型與牛角相似,又被稱為牛角筍,農會推動行之有年的共選共計,從採收竹筍到分級包裝、裝箱等步驟均由筍農自己來,每年固定銷台北果菜市場,減少中間商賺一手,母親節檔期一級品每公斤上看300元,前幾年甚至出現500多元高價。

近年越來越多新農人返鄉投入種綠竹筍行列,綠竹筍面積逐年遞增,不過,去年綠竹筍在生長階段遭遇太多雨水,筍頭「出菁」、爛掉,產量減少。龍崎區農會祕書董永章說,之前進入盛產季天天有筍採,目前1周採2天,但產量少價格相對好,去年同期平均約100元,今年則為120元。

除了共同運銷送往北部市場拍賣,這幾年農會也在農糧署南區分署接洽下,與屏東如記食品公司簽約,分散市場,該公司前年採購35公噸、去年66公噸,今年產量雖少,但該公司提出每公斤比去年多15元採購龍崎綠竹筍,提高銷售價格、保障銷售通路也增加班員收入。

19日也將舉辦綠竹筍評鑑,3個產銷班共42人報名,經農藥殘留抽檢合格後,才能進入專家現場評選,當天評鑑外觀大小、柔嫩度、糖度等,此外,也結合大坑休閒農場、王家燻羊肉推出竹筍風味餐。
