〔記者曾健銘／新北報導〕新北市新莊區今日上午驚傳死亡事故，46歲劉姓男子駕駛小貨車行經中正路往迴龍方向，在輔仁大學校門口迴轉時，疑似未注意來車，導致65歲陳男機車煞車不及撞上，當場噴飛，警消獲報趕抵現場，發現陳男雖無明顯外傷，但疑似嚴重內傷，已無生命跡象，經送醫搶救後仍宣告不治。
劉姓駕駛事後向警方表示，當時迴轉後才聽到撞擊巨響，趕緊下車查看，才驚見車輛已被機車撞上，騎士倒地不起，經查雙方皆無無酒精反應，研判應是迴轉時未禮讓直行車、又未注意車況才肇事，全案將依過失致死罪嫌偵辦。
