警方到場時，蔡男坦承刷偽造信用卡，並表示賣場外有名男子負責把風，警方前往側門查看，果真發現37歲朱姓男子，上前盤查查獲14張偽造信用卡、他人身分證一張、4萬5000元以及盜刷買的服飾一件。
朱男供稱，每盜刷成功一次，蔡男可分得1000元，自己則把盜刷得手的手機賣掉後獲利，警方另查出朱男為通緝犯，將2人依偽造文書、詐欺等罪嫌移送，並追查背後是否有集團操控。
