新北市新店警分局碧潭派出所警員莊承翰、李承洋日前晚間11點執行巡邏勤務時，行經力行路與中華路83巷口，看見一位老翁氣喘吁吁地推著機車，由於夜深了，員警擔心老人家會發生意外，馬上上前關心，一問才知道，原來他的機車沒油熄火拋錨在路中，才會想徒手推車到最近的加油站加油。
由於該路段是上坡路段，且鄰近環河路車流量很大非常危險，員警擔心82歲陳姓老翁深夜推車可能導致體力不支或發生意外，便從後方協助老翁將車輛推上斜坡，所幸200公尺外就有加油站，老翁這才將油打滿，順利返家。
老翁對於2名員警的熱心協助表示非常感謝，心想若不是員警及時出現，還真的不知道該怎麼辦才好。
