〔記者蔡政珉／苗栗報導〕福爾摩沙高速公路南下154.6公里處，今天下午2點多發生一起連環追撞事故。原本在路邊施工的工程車先被一輛疾駛而來的貨櫃車追撞後，後方小貨車煞車不及，也追撞上去，造成小貨車42歲林姓男駕駛一度受困。
苗栗縣消防局獲報後，派出苑裡、通霄分隊人員前往救援，順利將林男救出，送醫治療，初步觀察林男四肢有多處撕裂傷，所幸意識清醒。
國道第二大隊表示，初步了解是貨櫃車先撞向工程車之後林男駕駛的小貨車才撞上，但相關駕駛有無酒駕以及是否違規等，仍須調查釐清。
