〔記者劉濱銓／南投報導〕南投縣集集鎮知名景點武昌宮，近期一旁的中國浙江省泰順廊橋工程正在進行，且橋頂完成大致搭建，廊橋建築外觀日趨完整，惟之前中國浙江省廊橋才爆發倒塌造成傷亡，眼見集集的廊橋下個月就要上梁，外界也開始關心其結構與安全，對此，南投縣政府觀光處回應，工程都有專業廠商監造，安全無虞。
中國浙江省杭州桐廬縣，今年7月底傳出廊橋倒塌意外，造成不小傷亡，甚至網路傳出中國政府為掩飾事故慘況，還不惜「搶屍」，引發討論。
縣府觀光處表示，集集鎮的廊橋係由中國師傅組裝，並由台灣專業監造廠商負責監工，每天都有人員在現場把關，安全不會有問題。
