加工出口區管理處表示，排除園區建築條件不適合等因素，目前中港、楠梓、臨廣、屏東等園區，公有建築物屋頂太陽光電發電設備已全面完工啟用，預計發電量平均每年約52萬1581度，減碳量每年約319公噸，年減碳將近1座大安森林公園。
加工出口區園區公有建築物屋頂，裝置太陽光電發電設備案，是以公開招標方式，遴選合適的太陽光電能源系統廠商進駐投資，以出租屋頂方式，裝置太陽光電系統。
加工出口區管理處強調，未來將輔導區內廠商，將建築物屋頂以自行建置或出租方式，裝置太陽光電系統，朝綠能永續園區目標邁進。
