〔記者黃明堂／台東報導〕1100元這個數字通常是喪事白包的金額，但今年重陽節，台東縣成功鎮老人拿到的禮金卻是1100元，令有些老人覺得怪怪的！
「去年包1100，今年又1100」！縣議員許進榮今天在議會質詢時指出，民間對於喪事白包通常會包單數，忌諱成雙，「1100」被視為單數，也是最普遍的白包金額，平時的紅包則包雙數，忌諱單數觸楣頭。
他說，去年及今年成功鎮老人收到的重陽節禮金都是「1100」元，很不恰當！
許進榮說，去年縣府編1名老人600元，成功鎮公所自編500元，合計1100元，被罵之後，鎮公所今年增為600元，原想與縣府合併為1200元討個吉利，人算不如天算，縣府今年同意減發100元，合起來又是「1100」元，他質問縣府為何少100元？
社會處長曹劍秋解釋，並非故意的，是因審計室認為600元現金太多，所以縣府才少編100元。
