警方獲報到場，發現共有10部機車座墊遭劃破，平均每部機車都有2到3道割痕，其中多半為平整的「一字型割痕」，另有部份坐墊遭「X字斬」，10位車主接獲通知氣憤表示，機車皆熄火停在路旁並未發動，黃男根本蓄意破壞。
警方通知黃男到案時發現他精神狀況不佳，他供稱持續聽到機車引擎運轉聲，覺得很吵才會動手破壞座墊，由於黃男母親已出面協商賠償，目前尚未有車主提告毀損。
