彰化地檢署襄閱主任檢察官林漢強表示，檢方會依照消防局火警調查鑑定報告，朝公共危險罪嫌偵辦調查；在民事上涉及業務過失傷害，業者和楊姓工讀生恐將面臨用餐客人民事求償。
彰化縣政府建設處副處長劉玉平表示，該店沒有申請營業登記，近期派員輔導並限期改善，逾期開罰1萬到5萬元不等；勞工處長吳蘭梅表示，業者沒有替員工保勞保、員工教育訓練不足、現場逃逸動線不佳，將依就業保險法、勞工保險條例、職業安全衛生相關法規來調查，認定之後處分開罰。
