〔記者曾健銘／新北報導〕新北市林口區今日上午7時許驚傳火燒車事故，新北市消防局接獲民眾報案，指稱1輛停放在文化一路一段上1輛休旅車起火燃燒，大批消防人車趕抵現場，迅速撲滅火勢，所幸未造成人員傷亡，但卻不見駕駛蹤影。
警方事後尋車牌聯繫上46歲楊姓車主，他初步向警方供稱，當時開車上班途中發現引擎蓋冒煙，他才趕緊停車檢查，但查無異狀，因當時上班快遲到，擔心車輛會中途拋錨，他只好改搭計程車去上班，沒想到轎車最後起火燃燒，警方對其供詞持保留態度。
新莊分局表示，後續將會約談楊姓車主到案協助調查，詳細事發過程與起火原因仍待進一步釐清。
