鐵路警察局大甲派出所指出，蘇男上午騎機車行駛民間自行闢設的便道，欲跨越台中臨港線，前往臨港路時，不慎擦撞貨運火車頭受傷，目前台中港線僅上、下午各有一列鐵路貨車行駛，未影響其他貨運班次。
梧棲童綜合醫院指出，蘇男到院意識清楚，右肋骨多處骨折，右肩胛骨骨折，右肺挫傷，目前送加護病房觀察。
