橄欖推廣活動昨天在寶山橄欖門市部前廣場舉辦，以橄欖採收為主軸，參與者用長竹竿將成熟的橄欖敲打下來，工作人員並在果園鋪布接果；採收後也現場教製橄欖蜜餞，體驗過程新奇有趣。
寶山鄉長邱坤桶說，寶山主要為海拔二百五十公尺以下的丘陵地，適合種植台灣原生種橄欖（尖仁），主要產地油田村，面積雖僅四十公頃，卻是全國唯一的橄欖產銷班。
