〔記者陳燦坤／雲林報導〕方便香客遊北港，北港一名信徒捐贈朝天宮50部單車，信眾參拜媽祖後，可以暢遊巿區每個景點，同時深度了解北港古鎮豐富的人文風光，也期待未來能夠添購自動車，供行動不便信徒騎乘。
朝天宮今天收到50部單車，常務董事蔡銘唐透過是一名媽祖信徒捐贈，這位信徒看到朝天宮每年來訪遊客多達7百萬人次，遠超過不少廟宇，但許多廟宇已組織「鐵馬隊」幫助香客可以遊遍當地每個角落，朝天宮至今香客因沒有代步工具，只能徒步進香，參拜媽祖後，便直接搭車離開，人潮帶來的商機竟看不到，卻留不住，實在讓人扼腕，這位信徒發願購買這批單車，供香客免費借乘。
考量來朝天宮參拜的香客中，不少行動不便，蔡銘唐期待往後可以與地方合作，洽購電動車，載送這些香客，遊歷北港每個角落。
