北港農工創新食材 紅藜融入月餅

〔記者陳燦坤/雲林報導〕紅藜是近來當紅的養生食材,北港農工畜保科與農場經營科合作,昨將紅藜變成中秋月餅的食材,不僅外觀可口,還能夠增添月餅美味,未來打算開拓更多口味造福師生與地方弱勢團體。

每逢中秋月圓是家人團圓的日子,北港農工畜保科學生照例製作應景的鳯梨酥或蛋黃酥與同學分享,或是贈送老師,慰勞師長一年來辛苦,與往常不同的是月餅增添新口味,同學將學校自行栽種的紅藜添加入餅皮,不僅外觀看起來更加可口,符合養生需求。

不過,參與製作的同學說明,紅黎是顆粒狀,加熱過程溫度控制相當重要,稍有不慎可能造成餅皮龜裂,影響外觀,由於紅藜是現在最風行的養生食材,學校也嚐試栽種不少,日後也構想栽種更多養生食材添加入應景糕點。
