台中一名39歲的男子從事水電工作，去年（2016）3月間在沙鹿區撿到一把改造手槍，後在荔枝園把玩時，不小心誤扣板機，打傷左大腿，送醫後被發現是槍傷，最後被法辦，台中地院5日依照非法持有槍械罪，判刑1年8個月徒刑，併科罰金5萬元，全案還可以上訴。
判決書指出，陳姓水電工去年3月20日在沙鹿區撿到一把有傷殺力的改造手槍，卻直接帶回住處，並在荔枝園把玩時，不小心誤扣板機打傷左大腿，自行到醫院治療，醫護人員發現是槍傷通報員警，他供稱，槍是撿到的，拿回家後把玩不小心槍枝走火，子彈就卡在腿裡面，只好到醫院求救。
警方在陳姓水電工家中抽屜找到槍枝並查扣，並依法送辦。陳姓水電工雖主動告知槍枝是撿到的，但台中地院5日仍依照非法持有槍械罪，判處他1年8個月有期徒刑，併科罰金5萬元，全案可上訴。
