羅東林業文化園區原為太平山檜木集散地，山區禁採後，近幾年來轉型為林業生態場域，早年舊宿舍、貯木池仍保存完好。
「封林訣」解謎遊戲是利用手機通訊軟體及遊戲包內所附的五張謎題卡，逐一解謎，遊玩時間約一個半小時，適合兩到四人玩，謎題隱藏在園區各個角落，考驗著遊客耐心和腦力。
昨有不少遊客搶鮮玩，羅東林管處說，羅東林業文化園區的貯木池、賞鳥平台、森林鐵道、環湖步道等設施，都被列入故事脈絡，玩家得利用視覺、觸覺、推理才能找到答案，完成闖關可兌換「封林訣」桌遊套卡組。
