遊客看了霧煞煞，粉鳥林的鳥裡頭少了一橫，竟然寫成「烏」龍的「烏」，真是個大烏龍，粉「烏」林漁港聽起來還真奇怪，有人真以為叫粉「烏」林。
也有遊客笑說是不是走錯地方，不過這裡會叫粉鳥林漁港，是因為早期有許多鴿子聚集，才會用鴿子的台語「粉鳥」作為地名，不過路牌寫錯字鬧笑話，蘇澳鎮公所可笑不出來。
檢視相片雖然不是什麼大錯誤，不過花了納稅人的錢，做路牌指示卻不小心搞烏龍，被民眾發現貼上網，宜蘭縣府要求相關單位限期更正，不讓民眾看笑話。
