台鐵傍晚驚傳列車出軌，一列區間車停駛在和平站時，發生燒軸冒火狀況，台鐵緊急將列車轉至非營業路線，但卻發生出軌，所幸當時旅客都還沒上車，但和平至和仁站各次南下／北上列車有延誤情形。
台鐵通報，今（27）日4652次和平開往玉里的區間車，和平站原訂17時06分開車，因EP549號編組鬆韌不良（燒軸），和平=花蓮間改停駛，旅客改乘688次，花蓮另派編組作4652次行駛。
因4652次17時10分和平站調車時17股轉18股，造成一軸出軌事故，改（和平=和仁）西正單線行車，搶修車由花蓮派出，即時成立局二級應變小組。
