[新頭殼newtalk] 宜蘭南澳至蘇澳一帶歷年來屢次傳出遊客遭瘋狗浪捲走的意外，去年9月更曾發生過宜蘭短短2個多小時就有7人被捲入海的事件。宜蘭縣消防局特別標示4個危險海域，分別是：內埤海灘、北方澳鼻海域、烏石漁港北堤及消波塊旁50米、外澳以北礁岩海岸離岸50米內（蜜月灣除外）。
內埤海灘因底床坡度過陡及過去曾發生多次瘋狗浪事件，被列為危險海域；北方澳海流流速較快，烏石漁港北堤易有離岸流發生，外澳以北則是因為礁岩地形容易發生撞擊意外，過去也有瘋狗浪發生記錄。
事實上，宜蘭多處高人氣海灘都是曾發生過溺水事件的水域，除了內埤海灘外，粉鳥林、南澳神秘沙灘等等皆是不建議從事水上活動的區域。縣政府建議，宜蘭北部烏石港水域和南方澳豆腐岬都是安全的水域，遊客可到這兩處從事水上活動。
