〔中央社〕新竹市26日電）新竹縣北埔鄉受到雨勢影響，昨天晚間8時許在北埔冷泉上方200公尺處傳出道路崩塌，目前已將此路段封閉。北埔鄉公所鄉長莊明增表示，今天上午將聯繫新竹縣政府勘查，陸續搶修中。
莊明增接受媒體訪問表示，在昨晚8時許得知在北埔冷泉上方200公尺（竹37線13.7公里）處發生道路崩塌，他趕往現場查看發現，現場崩塌的路段寬度3公尺、長度100公尺，且有大裂縫。所幸，目前未有傳出有人受困情形。
莊明增說，初步判斷崩塌原因，主要是昨天下午新竹山區受到雨勢來襲影響，大坪溪暴漲冲刷，造成道路下邊坡擋土牆掏空崩塌，崩塌位置處在溪水冲刷的迎水面，路基被掏空，甚至有一根電線桿滑落，幸好沒有造成停電。
他說，不過，因夜間視線差，無法精確觀測路基流失程度，雖僅單向坍塌，為安全考量，仍雙向封閉，有關單位正在研擬搶修。（編輯：陳政一）1080626
