〔記者劉濱銓／南投報導〕二○一九第卅七屆日月潭萬人泳渡，將於九月一日登場，六月廿五日上午八點起受理網路報名，今年活動人數上限訂為二萬五千人，組隊門檻則從最低三人調高到五人，藉此控管小團體數量，減少小車壅塞，盼使泳渡交通更順暢，此外，今年報名還有早鳥優惠，前五百隊可獲泳渡紀念品，報名詳情可上網http://www.pulifourswim.tw/。
25日起網路報名 9月1日登場
主辦單位埔里四季早泳會表示，為維持泳渡當天的交通，今年改變最低報名門檻，過去只要三人即可組隊參加，現在則是至少五人才能報名，鼓勵游泳同好能共乘一車，或是參加大團體，盼能減少泳渡當天的車潮，維持活動順暢，根據過往經驗，泳渡報名可能在三天就額滿。
此外，今年泳渡也有潭區觀光業者雲品溫泉酒店提供贊助，將於泳渡結束後負責「淨潭」，協助整理潭區環境。
縣府也表示，除九月一日的泳渡外，前一天八月卅一日也有日月潭公開水域游泳挑戰賽，隔週九月七日還有二○一九FINA馬拉松游泳世界錦標賽系列賽南投站，可望讓潭區更加熱鬧。
