高雄市警方10日晚間8時40分在85大樓附近盤查可疑對象時，與歹徒爆發警匪槍戰，1人掏槍朝警察射擊，2名員警則還擊12槍，未傳有人員傷亡。混亂中1名歹徒遁逃，另1人則挾持機車逃亡，警方目前已封鎖現場，並帶回1名女子，案情持續追查中。
據了解，高雄市警員9日下午在街頭險遭歹徒槍擊，當時警方逮捕1名柯姓男子，查獲2把改造槍枝，另1名男子則在逃。新興分局持續追查，今晚接獲情資，得知可疑對象座車疑似出現在85大樓附近，立刻派人埋伏。
警方盤查車上女駕駛時，發現一旁超商騎樓有2名男子形跡可疑，欲上前盤查時，2名男子拔腿逃跑，其中1人還拔槍朝警方連開數槍，2名員警分別還擊9槍及3槍，混亂中歹徒持槍挾持一名路過男子，威脅對方騎機車一起離去，另1名歹徒也趁亂逃跑，警方目前正調閱附近監視器畫面，追查2名歹徒下落。
