台南市南化區174-2線道「尖山橋」橋梁持續沉陷，影響通行安全，經橋梁檢測單位評估有改建需求。台南市政府工務局為顧及民眾交通安全，決定自6月11日起全線封橋，如順利發包，預計109年5月底改建完成後，才開放通車。
工務局指出，尖山橋興建於1976年，原寬4.5公尺、長19公尺，發現尖山橋有異常現象後，該局加速籌措經費，規劃辦理橋梁改建事宜，改建後橋梁拓寬為6.1公尺、長26公尺。
工務局表示，該局雖已加速辦理尖山橋改建設計規劃事宜，但預估發包施工恐有未逮。現已進入汛期，梅雨、鋒面接沓而至，考量水流衝擊危及民眾生命安全，乃於6月11日起提早辦理尖山橋全線封閉。封橋後，民眾交通可改道台三線往台20乙方向行駛。
