〔記者吳昇儒／新北報導〕新北市警汐止分局警員林緹榮7日下午擔任轄區路口交整崗勤務時，有民眾發現排水溝內有狗狗受困，林員立刻前往協助，將水溝蓋翻開，救出受困的犬隻。有路過的民眾發現，昨日深夜在臉書上PO文稱讚：「警察先生真的辛苦了！」
汐止警分局指出，案發時間為7日下午3時45分，當時林員正在大同路一段與南陽街口執行交整勤務，附近一間汽車維修行的員工，突然跑到林員身旁，指稱有水溝內有狗狗吠叫的聲音，請他協助救援。
林員見交通狀況尚為穩定，便跑到水溝蓋旁向一旁的維修廠商借工具救狗，初步查看疑似前方一處水溝蓋未將蓋子蓋上，導致路過的狗狗不小心跌進水溝中。林員先把水溝蓋旁的沙土翻起，再與熱心民眾一起將水溝蓋打開，所幸不到30分鐘，就將小狗救出。
