〔記者陳鳳麗／南投報導〕南投縣草屯鎮平林里1座豬舍發生火災，圈舍內的豬隻四處奔逃，有幸運撞破柵欄竄逃，但仍有10多隻被燒成烤乳豬，幸運逃出的豬仔已陸續被主人尋回安置，而起火原因由縣消防局調查中。
位在草屯鎮平林里坪林巷一處鐵皮豬舍，上午6點多突竄出火苗，很快即濃煙加烈焰包圍整座豬舍，圈舍內的豬隻們，嚇得大聲嚎叫並四處亂跑，有的豬隻情急下朝猛撞，撞破柵欄後有數隻逃出圈舍，但有的豬仔們就沒有那麼幸運，濃煙加大火下成了火下冤魂，都成了焦黑的烤乳豬。
撞破柵欄逃出去的多隻豬仔，有的在附近亂走，有的則躲在某草叢中，後來都一一被主人尋獲帶回安置。消防人員估計主人財物損失約15萬元，起火原因則有待調查。
