它們不是螢火蟲喔！南投縣國姓鄉南港村的山區竹林，最近每到夜間總是螢光點點，但不是飛舞的螢火蟲，而是不會動的螢光蕈。發現螢光蕈的在地養鹿人家張淑珍表示，對螢光蕈的印象是20多年前赴澳洲旅遊時看過，當時就覺得很神奇，卻沒想到現在自家後山就能看到，而且最近連續降雨，螢光蕈的數量大爆發，也吸引許多攝影愛好者前來獵取美景。
螢光蕈為一種發光真菌，只有蕈傘會自行發光。由於只在無污染的環境下生存，也是生態環境的一種指標，南港村長洪永鎮希望所有民眾一起守護好環境，想要了解螢光蕈的民眾，都能帶著愛護大自然的心情來欣賞。（圖︰張淑珍提供，文：記者佟振國）
