因應中央氣象局發布全臺豪雨特報，陸軍第六軍團第三地區支援指揮部湖口聯保廠於20日接獲新竹縣湖口鄉公所申請，派遣40員兵力前往湖口鄉公所堆砌沙包，支援車輛計中型戰術輪車2輛，上午11時10分抵達順興砂石場進行沙包裝袋，共完成1300袋沙包供鄉公所運用，希望提前做好準備，幫助民眾遠離水患之苦。（文：軍聞社陳映竹/圖：陸軍第六軍團提供）
