氣象局說，下午至晚間，南投縣山區、雲林縣山區及嘉義以南地區有大雨或豪雨，南投、雲林、東半部地區、新竹至台中山區及澎湖、金門有大雨。氣象局提醒民眾注意雷擊及強陣風，低窪地區防積水；連日降雨，山區防坍方及落石。
氣象局觀測，下午2時20分至3時20分，嘉義阿里山及台南白河時雨量都超過70毫米，台南東山、後壁時雨量超過60毫米，嘉義水上、大埔時雨量超過50毫米。
