〔記者洪定宏／高雄報導〕高雄市消防局宣導裝設住宅用火災警報器（住警器），開始祭出罰則了。大樹分隊提醒房東，出租的公寓及透天厝，必須設置住警器並維護，若經檢舉調查屬實，求限期改善仍拒裝，最高罰款3萬元。
大樹分隊指出，依消防法第六條規定，未設置火警自動警報設備的住宅場所，應於106年12月31日前自主裝設。
另依「高雄市火災預防自治條例」規定，一般公寓、透天厝租賃住宅場所，房東應設置住宅用火災警報器並維護之；如經限期改善，仍不改善者，最高處3萬元。提醒房東在租屋前，務必安裝住警器，以免受罰。
大樹分隊表示，偵煙式住警器如果偵測到煙霧濃度達到設定數值，就會發出警報，應安裝在臥室或樓梯間；感熱式住警器若偵測到約攝氏80度的溫度，就會發出警報，應安裝在廚房。
大樹分隊強調，深夜至清晨的熟睡時刻，最容易發生重大傷亡案件，若能透過住警器偵測火災，就能增加逃生時間，減少傷亡及財物損失。
