郭台銘更提及，他很羨慕台東的政壇有很好的「人和」，因為台東縣前縣長黃健庭的執政團隊中，居然還有「前競選對手」到縣府一起合作建設台東，郭台銘強調「這樣的人和，我一定要帶到台北去。」

此外，向來關心台灣醫療產業的郭台銘，一早也拜訪台東基督教醫院，關心東部長期缺乏醫療資源問題，郭董甚至霸氣捐贈醫院興建癌症大樓8K、5G及所有雲端網路設備，同時再捐2部復康巴士，讓院方相當感動，郭台銘也強調，未來當選總統後，將全面重視科技醫療產業。
