豐原區北陽二街是通往三陽運動公園與豐東路的聯繫道路，周邊住宅區及商家林立，路面因年久失修產生龜裂、不平整。為此，台中市政府建設局進行北陽二街自三陽運動公園至豐東路段，全長114公尺路面改善工程，已於14日完工。
建設局指出，北陽二街銜接三陽運動公園及豐東路，周邊住宅區居多，三陽運動公園內設有溜冰場、籃球場、兒童遊具及體健設施，鄉親使用率高，而豐東路商家林立，因此北陽二街路平專案對當地相當重要。
建設局長陳大田表示，北陽二街路面改善工程自三陽運動公園至豐東路段，全長114公尺、施工面積約1300平方公尺，工程採用半半施工方式，減少交通衝擊，已於14日完工。
