［記者鄭淑婷／桃園報導］國道2號西向8.1公里處，今早9點39分發生一起火燒車事故，桃園市消防局獲報派遣大竹、中路分隊趕往救援，大約3分鐘就將火勢撲滅，所幸車內人員即時逃出、未有傷亡，據悉，小客車是在行駛中突然冒煙，駕駛緊急停靠路肩並下車，火燒車原因有待國道警方釐清。
不過，這起火燒車意外一度造成後方車輛嚴重回堵，除了國道2號西向車流塞住，連帶影響國道1號匯入國道2號的車流，導致國道1號南崁路段大塞車，連平面道路車流都受到影響，在火勢撲滅後車流才逐漸消化。
