〔記者彭健禮／苗栗報導〕苗栗縣通霄鎮79歲李姓老漁夫，昨天晚間出海捕魚至深夜未歸，家人報請海巡、警方搜救；老漁夫於今早8點多在苑裡漁港外被發現，已無生命跡象；因遺體位處2公里外灘，搬運不易，由空勤直升機吊掛至港區，交由檢警後續相驗。
警方調查，昨天風雨不斷，海象不理想，李姓老漁夫於昨晚8點多，想趁風雨稍停的空檔，搭乘膠筏由通霄漁港出海，捕些魚貨。
但到深夜，老漁夫未歸，家屬遂報請海巡、警方協助搜救；海巡也協請空勤直升機於今天天亮協助。
今天上午8點多，退潮時段，老漁夫被發現倒臥在苑裡漁港外2公里的外灘，海巡等人前往接觸後，老漁夫已無生命跡象。
因老漁夫遺體所在位置離岸邊遠，人力搬運不易，遂請空勤直升機以吊掛方式，把老漁夫運至港區。
