畫面曝光後，讓網友們紛紛看傻，直呼「新車撞擊測試？」、「自殺式攻擊」、「停在路邊也中槍」、「是在打瞌睡？」、「好車，不撞怎麼知道？」。

警方調查，事故發生於3日中午12時，龍姓女子（38歲）駕駛賓士A180，沿潭子區中山路一段由北往南方向直行，因突然感覺到身體不適，才會偏離道路，失控撞上曾姓男子（55歲）所駕駛的砂石車，賓士龍姓駕駛並無酒駕情形，身上受到輕傷，曾男則無大礙，後續雙方將進行和解。

警方初步研判，應是賓士未注意車前狀況才會釀禍，詳細情形還有待後續調查釐清。
