〔記者詹士弘／雲林報導〕玩木球也能玩出一片天！雲林義峰高中莊吉峯、何育豪在今年全中運木球雙打勇奪金牌，其中莊吉峯獲選進入國家代表隊，將在六月中到韓國參加亞洲盃錦標賽，並以體育績優獲保送就讀國立高雄大學運動競技系。
莊吉峯從小接觸木球運動，就讀林內國中時，由教練戴元益啟蒙，曾奪下全中運木球賽銅牌，進入義峰高中後，在張世杰、蔡堡樺教練調教下，進步神速，四月初成為木球「國手」，六月中旬將參加亞洲盃錦標賽。
莊吉峯表示，選讀義峰高中餐飲科，是因家中經營自助餐店，畢業後可以繼承家業，目前已考取中式餐點、中式麵食、烘焙與門市服務等四張丙級證照，雖保送高雄大學運動競技系與原計畫不一樣，但希望能兼顧體育與餐飲專長，成為食品營養員，走出一片天。
