〔記者許倬勛／桃園報導〕因應鐵路地下化先導工程及桃園機場捷運A23中壢車站工程，桃園市中壢區元化地下道將分階段永久封閉，從前站往後站的機車道明天起封閉，而後站往前站的機車道和雙向汽車道，則分階段封閉，日期另行公布。
中壢警分局建議，民眾若由平鎮北上穿越鐵路往來中壢前後站，可由環南地下道、中豐陸橋、龍岡地下道等先行改道，若由內壢地區南下，可由普忠地下道、中原陸橋、中新地下道先行改道。
若民眾需行駛元化路，且從前站往後站，建議路線為，從元化路中山路口右轉中山路，左轉延平路，左轉康樂路由龍岡地下道穿越鐵路；或於元化路中山路口左轉中山路，右轉長江路，左轉中和路，右轉中新地下道穿越鐵路。
