桃園市觀音區敬業街某公寓4樓住户田姓阿嬤，21日將睡夢中2歲小孩獨自留在家裡外出，結果幼兒醒來找不到阿嬤嚇哭想開門反而將大門反鎖，阿嬤回來用鎖匙也打不開，急得報警協助，雖然草漯消防隊出動消防車到場搶救原想不破壞大門由外牆四樓窗戶進入，卻因拉梯長度不太夠，最後由吳進昌里長當下協調屋主請隊員直接破門救人，折騰1個多小時才將哭得聲嘶厲小朋友平安救出。

吳進昌表示，原本欲調雲梯車前來救援，但受限巷弄不少違規停車無法進入，在小孩哭聲不斷下，只得以強行破壞門鎖救人要緊，所幸平安救出；他再此呼籲所有家長，依兒少生活保護法，千萬不要貪一時方便，獨留幼兒離開視線範圍，以免觸法又萬一造成不可彌補的傷害就後悔莫及。
