〔記者李容萍／桃園報導〕一輛貨櫃車，今日下午3點55分行經桃園市中壢青埔特區的領航南路、高鐵北路口準備右轉大竹交道道時，突然因車輛重心不穩造成失控側翻，幸好當時旁邊沒有其他車輛，也沒有機車、腳踏車經過，53歲的陳姓貨櫃車駕駛人在翻車後自行脫困，經送醫幸無大礙，事故原因警方還要進一步調查。
消防局第二大隊和轄區中壢警分局青埔派出所表示，這輛貨櫃車是在中壢往大園的十字路口轉彎時翻車，救護人員到場發現陳姓駕駛人的左手有大面積擦傷、右大腿疼痛及右臉輕微撕裂傷，經查貨櫃裡主要是棉花貨品沒有易燃物，也沒造成其他人受傷，翻車原因不排除車速過快或人為操作疏失。
由於貨櫃車體積龐大，警方除請拖吊車將車輛抬起後開走，並在現場進行交通疏導，一直到晚上7點排除。
