新北市中和區四號公園內，20日凌晨5時許民眾在內晨運，發現一名男子吊掛在樹上動也不動，趕緊通知119報案，救護人員到場時，發現男子全身僵硬已經明顯死亡，轉報警方通知鑑識小組到場採證，現場並未發現遺書，男子身份及輕生原因仍有待進一步釐清。
警方表示，上吊現場就在中和四號公園捐血車附近，死者為男性約60歲，是利用類似尼龍繩吊掛在樹上輕生，現場初步查看無外力入侵跡象，排除他殺可能，依規定製作相關筆錄報請檢察官到場相驗，因死者身上並無攜帶證件，仍待比對後通知家屬確認身份。
